Other things have been on my mind lately.

Other things have been occupying my time lately.

Other things have been taking my energy lately.

I’m not sure I can pin down those other things. I started a list in January to keep track of all those other things. Either I got bored with the list, or became too busy with other things, that it now too is a struggle to keep up.

I finally caught a trout the other day. June 6th. I likely would have caught a few sooner, had I gone fishing, but I was busy with other things.

A buddy of mine asked me today what I’ve been working on lately. Not much I said, been busy with other things.

I keep a list on my phone to remind me of all the other things waiting on me to get done.

I pray every day for God to bring to fruition all of the other things I am waiting on Him to do.

And so time flows past me. One day I’ll look back and consider all of the other things I could have done.
